Rachel has been passionate about all things musical and theatre since the age of two. From the moment she first watched Disney's Beauty and the Beast, life became all about dressing up and telling a story (usually via song).
A native of the Adirondack Mountains, Rachel grew up in a community that fully supports the arts in its youth. She studied ballet at the Lake Placid School of Ballet and Dance and performed annually with the North Country Ballet Ensemble. Throughout middle and high school not only was Rachel part of her school's drama club, she worked with local community and professional theatre groups. She also spent several summers attending the Crane Youth Music program studying vocal performance, winning an Outstanding Musician Award.
From 2009-2011 Rachel studied musical theatre at Russell Sage College before moving to New York City. She transferred to Hunter College, graduating magna cum laude with a BA in Dance and a minor in Music. She now lives, works, and performs in New York City.
When she is not performing or taking lessons, Rachel can be found reading historical fiction, watching Disney movies (still), plunking away at the piano, hiking her native mountains, and continuing her quest for the best mac and cheese in NYC.
